Korean journalists visit F4E

Members of the Korean Delegation with F4E Staff

What is the difference between KSTAR and the ITER machine? When can we start using fusion energy commercially? How is the collaboration between F4E and the Korean DA?

These are questions posed by the Korean Delegation that visited F4E on Monday 13 September. Headed by representatives from the National Fusion Research Institute (NFRI) as well as the Ministry of Education and Science Technology, the Delegation consisted of journalists from various specialised and general publications.

Stavros Chatzipanagioutou, Head of Resources, presented F4E and our work. The Delegation also had the opportunity to visit the CAD office to learn more about designs for the ITER components. In order to further their understanding of the ITER project, the Delegation later also visited the Cadarache site.
