European Parliament – Budgetary Control Committee discusses F4E discharge

On Wednesday 4 December, the Budgetary Control Committee (CONT) of the European Parliament discussed the discharge of the 2018 budget of several Joint Undertakings. F4E Director Johannes Schwemmer presented the progress made by F4E and replied to questions from members of the Committee. MEPs from different parties showed a strong interest in the project and asked questions, which allows us to look forward to the EP’s final decision on the discharge with optimism. The discharge procedure is foreseen to be completed by April 2020.
