F4E launches the 2025 Fusion Technology Transfer Award

Fusion for Energy (F4E) is rewarding innovation and market vision with a new edition of the Fusion Technology Transfer Award. The call is open to European companies and organisations that take (or plan to take) a technology or know-how developed in fusion to the market.

Applications are open until 5 December 2025. An expert jury will assess the applications and select the winner, who will receive a reward of 10.000 EUR

The award is organised in collaboration with EUROfusion and with the support of Viromii Innovation.

Why fusion technology transfer?

Europe’s contribution to ITER and other fusion projects is pushing suppliers to develop cutting-edge technologies. These range from robotic tools to engineering software, superconductors or novel metal joining techniques, to name a few. Besides their value in a fusion environment, these solutions can find their place in other high-tech sectors. F4E’s Technology Transfer Programme helps companies and researchers think broader and tap into the commercial potential of fusion breakthroughs.
