F4E seat is set in Barcelona

F4E Offices, Barcelona

An article published in today’s El País suggests that F4E may relocate to Germany.
In line with the Council Decision of 27 March (2007/198/Euratom) establishing the European Joint Undertaking for ITER and the Development of Fusion Energy (Fusion for Energy), the organisation has been established for a period of 35 years starting on 19 April 2007 with Barcelona as its seat.
Contrary to what is reported in the article, F4E would like to state that the prospect of moving from Spain is not envisaged.
