F4E’s Governing Board (GB) has opened a call for expression of interest to draw up a reserve list of candidates in view of appointing several new members of its Executive Committee (ExCo) and Technical Advisory Panel (TAP). The ExCo assists the GB in reviewing procurement strategies and awarding contracts and grants, as well as commenting and making recommendations on the project plan, work programme, resources estimate plan, annual budget and accounts. F4E seeks experts of recognised standing and professional experience in scientific, legal, administrative and financial matters relating to the management of public or industrial procurement, especially for high technology projects or facilities.
The TAP assists the GB and Director in engineering, scientific and technical matters related to ITER, the Broader Approach and DEMO by preparing opinions and recommendations on the project plan and work programme, while also monitoring the technical implementation of F4E’s work programme. F4E seeks experts of recognised standing and professional experience in engineering, scientific and technical matters in topics relevant to ITER and the Broader Approach.Applications for both groups of positions should be submitted by 7th June 2013 at 17:00 CET.
