What are the F4E procurement rules? What will be the procurement process for ITER’s Heating and Current Drive Power Supplies? How does the process work?
These questions and others were discussed during F4E’s first thematic meeting presenting the European procurement packages for ITER Heating and Current Drive Power Supplies and their associated procurement strategy.
Representatives from 35 European companies attended the meeting held on 27 May at the F4E offices in Barcelona. In addition to answering questions, F4E gave a status report on the ITER project and F4E gave a status report on the ITER project and presented the procurement strategy for this supply.
And the most pressing question of all: when will the first call for tender be published? F4E confirms that it is foreseen for July this year.
