An information meeting is scheduled in order to inform qualified manufacturers implied in the ITER Vacuum Vessel manufacture, and stainless steel material manufacturers of the regulatory requirements which shall be complied with before starting the production of the following material grades:
for the ITER Vacuum Vessel and Port Components. The information meeting is scheduled at Fusion for Energy (Josep Pla 2, Torres Diagonal Litoral) in Barcelona on 8 February 2010 at 2 pm.
Any officially authorised representatives of stainless steel material manufacturers possibly interested in producing the above mentioned material grades for the ITER Vacuum Vessel and Ports Components is strongly invited to participate in the forum
In particular, the discussion will focus on the document Documentation Required_for_VV_Material_S_2MT72B_V2_2. Participants will be invited to provide their opinion and remarks.
