Europe passes the torch to Asia. The ITER Business Forum, the event that Agence ITER France has been organising in Europe, in order to highlight the business opportunities around the project and bring companies together to form partnerships, is travelling to Seoul to receive its first version.
There are high expectations in the horizon because an ITER business event of such scale and ambition has never been tried in Asia. It will be organised by the Korea ITER Domestic Agency (KODA) with the participation and support of the ITER Organization, F4E and the other ITER Domestic Agencies.
IBF Korea/14 aims to provide industries with fresh information on the status of ITER, procurement procedures and forthcoming calls for tenders scheduled for 2014-2015. There will be a special focus on the procurement status of the Domestic Agencies and their main suppliers (status on manufacturing, potential partnerships, subcontracting or local support).
This event will include an industrial conference, one to one meetings scheduled by companies themselves and an optional programme offering technical tours.
There is a clear opportunity to establish business contacts with European and Asian companies, currently involved in ITER or aspiring to use their expertise to spread on other markets.
See you at the IBF Korea/14 in Seoul. Registration opens on 1 April 2014.
