80% of the propping & shoring towers installed – May 2013

During the months of April and May we have been busy taking pictures of the ITER construction site so that you see its progress.
The reinforcement activities of the second concrete slab on the Tokamak pit have advanced and 80% of the propping and shoring towers have been installed.
The canteen is ready to receive its equipment. There has been good progress on the critical areas network and the galleries around the Tokamak complex.

To view and download the latest images from the ITER site visit our image gallery and our brand new F4E Flickr account which already boasts a nice selection of images and aerial views.
