F4E launches the 2026 Technology Transfer Demonstrator Call

Fusion for Energy (F4E) has launched the 2026 edition of the Call for Fusion Technology Transfer Demonstrator Projects. The initiative will support up to two projects that plan to take technology or know-how developed under F4E’s activities to the market, both within the fusion sector or to other industries like aerospace or energy.

European companies and research organisations can apply and present their demonstrator ideas. The proposals should focus on validating use cases, advancing market readiness and showing clear value in industrial environments. The selected applicants will receive up to 50.000 EUR to help implement their project, developing the new applications while minimizing commercial risk.

This extended edition builds on the success of previous calls, which attracted innovative proposals in various areas. The scheme is part of F4E’s Technology Transfer Programme and aims to accelerate the transfer of fusion innovations, fostering new business opportunities and cross-industry impact.

The F4E call will be open from 15 April to 31 July 2026.

In parallel, EUROfusion will support up to four additional projects, also with up to 50.000 EUR each, specifically targeting applications outside the fusion domain.

See more information on both calls.
