Switzerland joins F4E

It’s official – Switzerland is now a member of F4E. During the latest F4E Governing Board it was reported the accession of Switzerland to F4E had been formally approved by both chambers of the Swiss Parliament with an overwhelming majority.

Switzerland joins F4E as a third country member – F4E members currently also include the 27 Member States of the European Union and Euratom.

Carlos Varandas, Chair of the Governing Board, warmly welcomed Switzerland’s accession and noted that their engagement in F4E is very important.
