Working as a trainee at F4E will give you valuable professional experience


Do you want to gain professional experience and contribute to the work of Fusion for Energy? Are you curious about ITER and how it is to work in an international environment? The F4E traineeship could be the perfect opportunity for you!

F4E´s traineeships programme aims to promote awareness, knowledge and understanding of F4E’s role in the ITER project and within the European context, as well as to provide training to university graduates in the fusion field. The traineeship is paid and lasts from four to nine months with F4E in any of the three sites: Barcelona (Spain), Cadarache (France), or Garching (Germany), starting on either 1 March or 1 October.

The traineeship program is open to university graduates who are nationals of one of the Member States of the European Union or Switzerland and who have a university degree of at least 3 years of study (minimum a bachelor’s degree and the university degree must have been obtained within the last 3 years before the closing date for applications). Applicants also need to have a very good knowledge of English, the main working language of F4E.

The deadline for applications for the October traineeship period is at 12 noon on 24th July 2015.
