A sneak preview of ITER’s contractors area

The ITER construction site will be one of the busiest sites in Europe.
Currently, more than 300 people are working on the ground and by mid-2015 they are expected to reach 2,000 people.
We visited with our crew the contractors’ area 2, which will host the contractors involved in buildings and power supplies.
We get to see the first office space occupied by those that supervise the ITER construction, the canteen and other facilities that they use.
Last but not least, we learn about the health and safety provisions applying on the site and the measures to contain risk.
