Building a partnership with Industry and SMEs

A new brochure has been added to the F4E publications targeting specifically industry and SMEs.

With industry playing a key role in stimulating innovation, jobs and growth and nearly 20 million of Europe’s companies qualifying as SMEs, it is considered that that F4E by managing Europe’s contribution to the ITER project, can be part of the EU’s effort to kick start the economy.

The new brochure describes the scope of the activities managed by F4E, how companies can get involved and through what contract mechanisms. The role of the Industrial Liaison Officers (ILOs) network is highlighted for its strength in communicating those opportunities to the national level and the prospect of F4E steering and sharing Europe’s fusion know how is also presented.
